Recently we released a maintenance update: Update datadog-agent to version 7.32.3. This update addresses the log4j vulnerabilities affecting DataDog Agent described in DataDog blog article Update on our Response to the Log4j Vulnerability.

It is important to note that while Aiven always recommend applying maintenance updates as soon as possible (especially security updates), this particular vulnerability is known only to affect the JMX monitoring client and not any of the internal endpoints created by DataDog.

As Aiven does not use the JMX monitoring client, our services are not affected by this particular vulnerability. However, depending on your usage of DataDog it may be of interest to perform maintenance updates sooner rather than later.

As such, this maintenance update is provided for you to apply manually or during your normal maintenance window.
